Portsmouth cast their eye over Crystal Palace goalkeeper during training
Pompey have run the rule over Crystal Palace keeper Rohan Luthra.
It's understood the 18-year-old recently trained with the Blues, although he is unlikely to be handed a Fratton Park contract.
Luthra has come through the ranks at Selhurst Park and earned his maiden professional contract last summer.
The stopper joined non-league South Park on loan in October to garner first-team experience.
However, his time at the Isthmian League south central division side was cut short when non-elite sport ground to a halt before Christmas amid the coronavirus crisis.
Luthra's been capped by England at under-15 level and also went away for various goalkeeping training camps at St George’s Park.
Pompey cast their eye over the teenager last week at their Hilsea training base but it’s understood he’s unlikely to be offered a deal.
As things stand, Alex Bass will be the only keeper tied down to Pompey beyond this season.
First-choice stopper Craig MacGillivray is out of contract, along with Duncan Turnbull – currently on loan at Las Vegas Lights.
Lewis Ward's loan from Exeter expires at the end of the term, while the Blues have already told Taylor Seymour he's being released.
