The Blues are almost at an agreement with Norwich for the centre-back’s Fratton Park deal to be extended.

Raggett moved to Pompey last summer and has made 36 appearances, scoring twice.

Should a deal be struck, it’ll ease the Blues’ defensive concerns ahead of next week’s play-off semi-final first leg against Oxford United.

Pompey are also hoping Christian Burgess will be available for the remainder of the campaign ahead of tonight’s deadline.

However, Burgess is desperate to bow out his Fratton Park career with promotion to the Championship.

Pompey have already secured extensions with loanees Steve Seddon (Birmingham), Ross McCrorie (Rangers) and Cameron McGeehan (Barnsley).

Kenny Jackett's side are also confident out-of-contract players such as Lee Brown, Oli Hawkins, Brett Pitman and Brandon Haunstrup will pen short-term deals to be available for the play-offs.
