Hide AdShould a deal be struck, it’ll ease the Blues’ defensive concerns ahead of next week’s play-off semi-final first leg against Oxford United.
Pompey are also hoping Christian Burgess will be available for the remainder of the campaign ahead of tonight’s deadline.
As reported by The News, the popular centre-half has been lined up for a summer move to Belgium club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a three-year deal with an option.
However, Burgess is desperate to bow out his Fratton Park career with promotion to the Championship.
