Portsmouth fans left baffled why striker's left on bench again in Bristol Rovers loss
The Blues will rue a missed opportunity as they left the Memorial Stadium empty-handed.
Kenny Jackett's side had a chance to move third in the League One table – yet failed to take advantage against the struggling Gas.

Hide AdPompey threw away a first-half lead after John Marquis had opened the scoring. Ex-Hawks striker Jonah Ayunga bagged a brace before Luke Leahy netted a penalty in the second period.
To compound the Blues’ misery, Marquis missed a stoppage-time spot-kick.
The Fratton faithful have been venting their frustration at the final whistle.
Unsurprisingly, many are baffled why, yet again, Jordy Hiwula was left on the bench despite Pompey trailing by two goals.

Hide AdHiwula, honestly tear up your contract and leave #Pompey, for the good of your career…
@AR11_89
If Hiwula is bad enough to not play at all, why did he sign him permanently?
@adachops
Deluded if anyone thinks we’re going up... What’s happened to Hiwula? Ridiculous decision once again. Struggling to score and extended his contract to give him no game time. Awful management this.
@beiderbecks
White on and not Hiwula? What is that about? #pompey

Never capitalise when the teams around us slip up! League 1 playoffs at best this season!

Hide AdWe didn't deserve anything from this game. Fair play to Bristol Rovers. I can't get my head around how Hiwula can't get into this team.
Play offs for Pompey (if we're lucky).

Rasmus over Raggett as well, I don’t get it. Tonight’s game was one of the worst Portsmouth performances I’ve ever seen
