Pompey’s Academy pulled off a Portsmouth Senior Cup upset by defeating the Hawks.
The Westleigh Park match was goalless after 62 minutes before Ciaran Martin opened the scoring for the Blues with a shot from the edge of the box.
Sam Hudson’s side doubled their advantage through Jermaine Osifo, only for the Hawks’ Ethan Giwa-McNeil to reduce the deficit with 13 minutes remaining.
However, skipper Tayo Singerr had the final say when he finished from the spot in the 89th minute to seal an impressive 3-1 win for Pompey’s under-18s and put them into the semi-finals.
And here are our playing ratings...

9. Chinudu Agu - 7
A real driving force in the centre of midfield. Powerful, athletic and seemed to be everywhere. Photo: Jason Brown

10. Jermaine Osifo - 8
Fast, direct and very lively on the left wing, causing problems and a real handful at times. Deserved his goal, capping an excellent display. Photo: Jason Brown

11. Elisha Pfupa - 7
Had a glorious chance to score on 55 mins when racing onto Osifo’s ball from the left, but placed it wide. However, played a key role in Osifo making it 2-0 with his cross from the right. Very positive and always wanted the ball. Photo: Jason Brown

12. Tayo Singerr - 7
A hard-working display with few goal-scoring opportunities, but did eventually get on the scoresheet in the 89th minute from the penalty spot after winning it himself. Never stopped running and had some good moments. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
