Pompey are in the middle of a concerning run of form, which has seen them win just one of their previous 11 Championship matches.
This has seen them slump to 20th in the standings heading into the latest international break of the campaign, with Millwall up next.
The Blues have been without a number of key personnel at various stages of the season, which has no doubt played a significant role in their worrying start.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel on the injury front for John Mousinho, with the cavalry set to return over the coming weeks.
We’ve taken a look at the latest situation of all of Pompey’s current injured cohort - and when they could be back from the sidelines.

5. Adrian Segecic
There were initial fears that the Aussie sensation’s ankle issue could keep him out for an extended period. Those concerns were quickly put to bed, with the forward set to miss just 4-6 weeks of action. Mousinho has made it clear the 21-year-old remains on track in his recovery and has been penciled in to return against Millwall after the international break. | Dennis Goodwin

6. Connor Ogilvie
A major blow for the Blues. Mousinho revealed after the defeat to Hull City on the weekend that Ogilvie is set for a significant spell on the sidelines. The 29-year-old sustained a knee injury during the draw with Wrexham last week and will now be out for 10-12 weeks. 7. Harvey Blair
It’s been a frustrating start to the season for the young winger, who missed the first seven games of the season due to the hamstring issue sustained against Hull on the final day last term. Despite featuring off the bench against Watford and Middlesbrough, Blair hasn’t been seen since after feeling the same issue in training last month. Like Umeh, Mousinho is hopeful the 22-year-old will be back in full training ahead of the Millwall game. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages

8. Jacob Farrell
The Blues continued to be frustrated by the left-back’s ongoing absence. Farrell has only appeared twice since his 2024 arrival, with injuries keeping him sidelined. A problematic groin is the 22-year-old’s latest issue, which has forced him to miss the past two months of action. Despite being in and out of training, there is still no timeframe over a return to the first-team fray for the Aussie. | Steve Bailey/ProSportsImages
