65 brilliant photos of Portsmouth faithful celebrating triumph over Charlton Athletic at Fratton Park after late heroics

There was delirium inside Fratton Park on Monday evening as Pompey secured a 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic.

After Conor Shaughnessy opened the scoring on 69 minutes on his return from injury, the Blues looked like they would suffer late heartbreak when Harvey Knibbs levelled deep into stoppage time.

But John Mousinho’s men responded in the 98th minute, with Minhyeok Yang stealing the maximum points to move Pompey out of the Championship’s bottom three.

There were 20,401 supporters inside Fratton to witness the heroics, which also marked the Blues final game of 2025.
