Portsmouth’s ‘most valuable’ players - including £5.9m attacker and £1.7m Brentford man

It’s been a mixed start to the season at Fratton Park after Pompey recruited 12 new players during the summer transfer window.

The Blues have lost just one of their previous six Championship matches, with Saturday’s 1-0 win against Norwich City lifting John Mousinho’s troops up to 13th in the standings.

There have been some impressive contributions so far from a number of Pompey’s summer arrivals - including Marko Milovanovic, who has scored three goals in eight matches, as well as loanees Jayden Meghoma, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Benjy Arthur.

Owners Tornante increased Pompey’s transfer kitty in the recent window, with £11m spent to bolster the head coach’s ranks.

Meanwhile, Mousinho’s side were able to crucially keep hold of prized assets Adrian Segecic and Terry Devlin, with the Croatian attacker having late interest from Birmingham City.
