Is Norwich City v Portsmouth on TV? Kick-off time? Tickets and how to watch Championship contest

Pompey face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Good Friday as they resume their Championship survival bid.

When is Norwich City v Pompey?

The Championship run-in continues to gather pace as Pompey face in-form Norwich City at Carrow Road on Good Friday.

The contest kick-starts a busy Easter weekend for the Blues, who will be looking to pull away from danger as the race for survival intensifies.

Supporters who are unable to make the trip to Norfolk will be able to tune into Sky Sports + from 2.55pm on Friday afternoon, with the game potentially having huge implications at either end of the Championship table. The action will then get underway from 3pm.

Can I get tickets?

Despite John Mousinho’s men falling to a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of QPR last-time out on their travels, Pompey will be backed by huge numbers once again this week.

Last season, supporters witnessed Mousinho’s troops secure just their third away win of the campaign, with a 5-3 triumph over the Canaries.

Will it be on TV and can I stream it?

Supporters unable to attend the action at Carrow Road on Good Friday will be able to watch the contest unfold on Sky Sports.

However, there will be no in-depth coverage or studio analysis, with the contest set to be shown solely on Sky Sports+.

Coverage begins from 2.55pm and can be found on the Sky Sports+ channel or the Sky Sports red button.

Alternatively, a NOW TV membership can be purchased, with day passes to stream the match - as well as Sky Sports’ 12 other channels - available for £14.99.

Supporters can also follow every Pompey game live on Pompey+, the club’s official streaming platform.

UK-based fans can purchase an audio match pass for full live commentary. Overseas supporters can buy a video match pass to watch the game live.

Simply visit: www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/videos/subscriptions and select Match Passes - options will automatically appear based on your location.

The News will, as usual, be providing extensive online coverage, with team news, a live blog, match report, player ratings as well as player and manager reaction stories on portsmouth.co.uk.

Meanwhile, Franco Umeh (hamstring), Mark Kosznovszky (knee), Josh Murphy (foot) and Aji Alese (quad) will sit out the remainder of the season, while it remains to be seen whether Florian Bianchini (knee) and Thomas Waddingham (quad) could feature in the final eight games of the campaign.

Josh Knight (back) could be back in the fold against Middlesbrough next week.

Norwich are battling injury concerns of their own, with 14 players missing for their 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic before the international break.

Jack Stacey, Ben Chrisene, Mohamed Toure and Oscar Schwartau could return from the sidelines on Friday afternoon, while the fitness of Ruairi McConville will be assessed after he dropped out of the Northern Ireland squad on Monday.

Harry Amass, Shane Duffy, Gabriel Forsyth, Papa Amadou Diallo, Matej Jurasek, Lucien Mahovo, Jovon Makama, Jeffrey Schlupp, Mirko Topic and Ante Crnac are all expected to sit out Pompey’s visit.

The EFL are yet to confirm their refereeing appointments for the Easter weekend schedule, but will be updated in due course.
