2. Nicolas Schmid 7
Important not to be disproportionately swayed by last Saturday’s disappointing events at QPR, against a strong body of work for the season from the Austrian. Schmid has come to Pompey’s rescue time and again, with it the norm for him to make at least one key intervention per game. Undoubtedly one of Pompey’s most valuable assets. | Getty Images
3. Jordan Williams 6
Williams’ demise of late has been an understated surprise, with no minutes at all for the full-back for the past seven games. Has 10 starts and 14 appearances off the bench across the season, with some decent form at times last year. Worldie strike against Millwall a clear season’s highlight. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
4. Connor Ogilvie 7
Pompey’s longest-serving senior player is producing the best football of his career, whether as a left-back or increasingly as a central defender. Spent a couple of months on the sidelines with a knee injury, but versatility and consistency has been key amid injury woe at the back. Strong case to say he’s in Pompey’s top three performers this term. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
