Do you agree with how Blues writer Jordan Cross sees the performances from John Mousinho’s squad to date?

Where to begin with the January signing from Luton? Storming start to Pompey career saw clamour grow for permanent capture, as he showcased maverick qualities. Form has dramatically tailed off, however, but remains his side’s biggest threat. So much hangs on the Irishman this season, a worrying statement given his inconsistencies. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages

The demand was for Blair to step up and show his Championship quality, after maiden season of adjustment. Injuries mean that simply hasn’t been the case. Undoubted talent, but Mousinho’s patience appears to be wearing thin in Liverpool capture. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages

Won’t be forgotten for stepping up in the south-coast derby when it was needed, but looked uncomfortable in league start against Sheffield Wednesday, which was a low point in the season. . Photo: Stephen Flynn

It’s painful to say, but homecoming has agonisngly failed to live up to the hype. The hysteria was understandable over Chaplin’s deadline day capture, given his Ipswich record but form has been way, way below what’s expected - and the academy lad would demand of himself. Took one for the team by playing on the right, but not nearly effective another when utilised in preferred deep-lying central position. Had to adapt to a different brand of football, which hasn’t helped but ultimately one goal and three assists way below expectations. Hopefully there can be a happy ending still. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
