5. Luke Graham - Dundee
Graham is a long-term target at Fratton Park having been the subject of several failed bids by Pompey during the January transfer window. After a brilliant campaign at Dens Park, the centre-back is expected to have a clutch of clubs interested in his services both in England and in Scotland. Although Mousinho has six central defenders in his ranks, that picture will likely shift in the transfer window if some of those names were to move on. After putting much of the groundwork in scouting the 22-year-old prior to the January market, the Blues could come back in for his signature this summer. Rumour rated: 5/5. | SNS Group

6. Arkell Jude-Boyd - Cheltenham Town
Football Insider credited Pompey with an interest in Jude-Boyd in April. The 23-year-old has since been released by Cheltenham Town, but is said to have potential suitors higher up the footballing pyramid - including Luton Town, Plymouth Argyle and Rotherham United. The Blues have a track record of investing in younger players, with the hope of building them up and selling them on. It remains to be seen whether Jude-Boyd fits the bill, though, with Mousinho’s men expected to be in the market for a frontline right-back this summer with Terry Devlin set to depart. 7. Leon King - Rangers
Pompey are reportedly ‘monitoring’ the defender, who is set to depart Rangers this summer, along with a host of Championship rivals. The 22-year-old has impressed with Scottish Championship side Ayr United this term and is expected to attract plenty of interest south of the border. The report does make sense, with the Blues previously scouting the Scottish market given their January pursuit of Graham. Should Mousinho’s men fail to land the Dundee man, King could be a strong alternative. Rumour rated: 3/5. | Getty Images

8. Bamba Dieng - Lorient
With Mousinho looking to bolster his arsenal this summer, Dieng’s name was touted with a switch to PO4 by Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke. The in-form frontman, who has netted 10 goals in Ligue 1 this term, does have interest from the Championship, with Blackburn Rovers and Hull City said to be keen. The News understands the 26-year-old is not, however, on the Blues’ shopping list - despite their extensive number nine list. Rumour rated: 1/5. | AFP via Getty Images
