It’s expected to be a busy summer at Fratton Park as Pompey look to bolster their ranks ahead of next term.
As supporters continue to ponder who will arrive at PO4 this summer, some of those names touted with a move have already been promptly shot down, while others have a bit more credence.

9. Svante Ingelsson - Sheffield Wednesday
Pompey pushed hard to secure Ingelsson’s signature in the January window and even had a bid knocked back before cooling their interest as the month progressed. The midfielder does have Championship interest following Sheffield Wednesday’s relegation to League One, with Stoke City, Preston North End and West Brom all keen, according to The Star. The 27-year-old’s future at Hillsborough remains uncertain and is currently set to become a free agent on July 1, although the Owls do hold a 12-month option on reduced wages.
