‘There’s a huge possibility’: Intriguing transfer development involving Portsmouth target Tyrese Shade
Pompey are interested in Burton Albion attacker Tyrese Shade in the final days of the transfer window.
There’s a huge possibility Tyrese Shade could remain a Burton Albion beyond the summer transfer window.
That’s the belief of Brewers boss Gary Bowyer, who has explained the attacker’s surprise outing against Notts County on Saturday.
The St Kitts and Nevis international’s future is firmly under the spotlight as the market races towards its climax.

Charlton Athletic are also reportedly keen, while Lincoln City, who had multiple £2m bids rejected by Burton Albion earlier this summer, appear to have moved on in their striker search.
The Blues are, of course, hoping to recruit a versatile attacker before the market slams shut, with the 26-year-old certainly fitting the mould.
Shade has been touted with a departure this summer after a brilliant 14 goal campaign last term, with Bowyer suggesting his star man could leave with a year remaining on his current terms.
But after missing the Brewers’ opening four matches of the season, with the head coach admitting Shade was not in the right place to feature amid ongoing speculation on his future, the forward made a surprise appearance during their 2-1 defeat to Notts County on Saturday.

In fact, the ex-Eastleigh man came off the bench on the hour mark to register his first competitive minutes of the season.
And in an intriguing late-window twist, Bowyer has hinted Shade could now remain at the Pirelli Stadium beyond Tuesday’s deadline.
When asked why the attacker was included in the matchday squad by BBC Radio Derby, Bowyer said: ‘He felt he was in a better place.
‘Obviously we lost Deno (Mathew Dennis) last week, he’s out for a month and then we’re asking a young 18-year-old (Zac Scutt) to play up front. So that’s where we were at.
‘There’s a huge possibility (that he stays). If nobody buys him then he’s staying and that’s the huge possibility.
‘I’m not being funny there, that’s the reality and I said that to him yesterday.
‘I said ‘you’re going to have to start getting your head round the fact that if nobody comes in with an offer that meets the club’s value then you won’t be sold. Simple as that.
‘Nobody’s going to buy him on the cheap. And I think he’s getting that a little bit.’
Pompey set for busy window climax

It’s expected to be busy climax to the transfer window at Fratton Park as Mousinho puts the final pieces of his squad together.
A versatile attacker is on the head coach’s shopping list, with Shade touted with a switch, while a left-back is also an area the Blues boss is looking to strengthen.
The futures of Luke Le Roux, Hayden Matthews, Josef Bursik, Jacob Farrell and Harvey Blair are also under the spotlight ahead of Tuesday’s climax.
