Championship rivals Wolves reject £3.5m bid for Portsmouth-linked midfielder Boubacar Traore
Pompey were linked with a move for Boubacar Traore earlier this summer.
Wolves have rejected a seven-figure offer for Pompey-linked midfielder Boubacar Traore, according to reports.
Our sister paper, The Express and Star, have revealed Belgian outfit Anderlecht have had a £3.5m bid turned down by the Blues’ Championship rivals for the 25-year-old.
It is believed the offer falls some way below the club’s valuation of the Mali international, who arrived at Molineux on a permanent basis for £11m in 2023.

Traore is now expected to remain with Cesar Piexoto’s side beyond Tuesday’s transfer deadline, despite his future initially appearing away from the West Midlands outfit.
Reports suggested the Blues had enquired about the former Metz man as John Mousinho looked to solve his defensive-midfield issues.
However, a summer swoop for Traore now appears highly unlikely after Iyad Mohamed completed a permanent switch to Fratton Park on Thursday.
The 25-year-old has penned a three-year deal on the south coast after arriving in a reported six-figure deal from Portuguese top-flight side Casa Pia.
He became the Blues’ 10 signing of the summer, with Mousinho’s men still expected to be busy before Tuesday’s deadline.
