Adrian Segecic’s memorable hat-trick earned Pompey an eye-catching win at Stoke in their penultimate match of the season.
Already comfortably the Blues’ leading scorer, the Croatian under-21 international handed the Blues a first-half lead when he lashed home a left-footed cross from Harvey Blair’s excellent pass.
The unmarked Lamine Cisse headed home an equaliser just after the break, only for Segecic to restore Pompey’s advantage when steering home substitute Josh Murphy’s left-wing cross.
He then wrapped up his hat-trick - and victory - with a low left-footed shot from outside the box as the visitors claimed a 3-1 victory to move up to 18th.
And here are our Pompey player ratings...

5. Hayden Matthews - 7
(Replaced by Ibane Bowat on 61 mins) Handed a first appearance since New Year’s Day, starting in place of Poole, and looked very comfortable. Barely put a foot wrong in defence and always willing to drive forward with the ball at his feet. Ugly tackle on Seko saw him booked before he was substituted. | Pro Sports Images

6. Connor Ogilvie - 7
Not yet picked up where he left off after returning from his three-match ban, struggling to regain that impressive rhythm before Oxford United. Still, Ogilvie was solid enough. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages

7. Luke Le Roux - 7
A rare appearance for the South African and, considering Mousinho wanted to rotate, he deserved it. Absolutely no frills, but hard-working, committed and gives everything. Never lets anyone down. | Jez Tighe/ProSportsImages

8. Andre Dozzell - 8
Linked with a summer move to DC United in the build up, but he hasn’t already checked out on this display. Paired with Le Roux, Dozzell took responsibility and was at the heart of all Pompey’s best moves. Such an intelligent, consistent player who will be badly missed. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
