John Mousinho is expecting up to six new signings to arrive at Pompey before the January window closes at 7pm on February 2.
With the transfer window now open for a couple of weeks a number of names have surfaced, in terms of being of interest to the Blues on that front.
Some of the players mentioned have credibility with others, well, less so...
So we’ve assembled a list of all those mentioned so far, and given you the inside track on how things really stand when it comes to Pompey’s reported interest.

5. Nesta Elphege
Pompey are looking for a number nine and the Grenoble striker seems to be the strong option in that area at present - as revealed by The News yesterday. Their interest spans a few months in the Frenchman, who is rated at £1m. Whether the Blues can get him for cheaper than that figure remains to be seen, but they are the club showing keenest interest in the 6ft 4in number nine. | Grenoble Foot Photo: Grenoble Foot

6. Andre Luiz
A very early name to surface with Pompey linked with the Rio Ave winger last month. Premier League sides Sunderland and Brentford being mentioned with the Brazilian and a £13.1m valuation are all you need to know, when it comes to the likelihood of anything happening. | AFP via Getty Images

7. Millenic Alli
A name which started flying around this week and accelerated when he was spotted at the training ground on Tuesday night, ahead of reports surfacing yesterday. The news was confirmed last night, as the winger joined on loan until the summer as Pompey’s first January signing. | Portsmouth FC

8. Andrew Moran
One of the first names to surface as the January transfer window opened. The Brighton midfielder has picked up Championship loans with Blackburn and Stoke, with his most recent football in the MLS with LAFC. Doesn’t look like one Pompey are looking to advance at present. | Getty Images
