John Mousinho is expecting up to six new signings to arrive at Pompey before the January window closes at 7pm on February 2.
With the transfer window now open for a couple of weeks a number of names have surfaced, in terms of being of interest to the Blues on that front.
Some of the players mentioned have credibility with others, well, less so...
So we’ve assembled a list of all those mentioned so far, and given you the inside track on how things really stand when it comes to Pompey’s reported interest.
9. Luke Graham
The central defender is seen as one of the most promising young players in the SPL with Dundee. A name which surfaced last week and certainly a player who’s of interest to Pompey. The likes of QPR, Oxford United Sheffield United are also said to be keen on the 21-year-old, however, and with Dundee boss Stephen Pressley saying it’s going to take a big bid to land the Scot, it looks like rivals with deeper pockets could win the race for his signature if Graham moves on. | SNS Group
10. Roggerio Nyakossi
The Swiss central defender was a name which popped up slightly out of leftfield last week. Pompey were mentioned along with Southampton and West Ham, with the suggestion the Blues had a £1.5m bid knocked back by OH Leuven in the summer.
