Portsmouth lad helps Weymouth to promotion as Football League clubs remain interested

The midfielder helped Weymouth to promotion from the National League South yesterday.

The Terras defeated Dartford 3-0 on penalties after a goalless draw at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Ngalo again featured from the outset, having started the semi-final victory over Dorking Wanderers.

The former St Edmund's Catholic School pupil featuring for 53 minutes in Weymouth's triumph.

The Terras, who finished third in the table, achieved back-to-back promotions and have returned to the National League.

What's more, it was the third successive promotion of Ngalo's fledgling career, having also gone up twice at Blackfield & Langley.

The 21-year-old is just one division away from making it into the professional ranks.

However, there is interest from Football League and Scottish Premiership clubs in him.

Ngalo did undergo a trial with Pompey during the summer of 2017 but was turned down.
