Injuries have decimated Pompey’s squad this season, with a number of key players missing various points of the campaign to date.

After fresh blows to Aji Alese and Conor Chaplin, the Blues suffered two further set-backs in Saturday’s defeat to Sheffield United.

Both Adrian Segecic (dead leg) and Andre Dozzell (ankle) were both withdrawn due to separate issues and are expected to miss the midweek trip to the capital.

That takes the tally of injured players up to 14 for Pompey, who make the trip to the capital on Tuesday looking to extend the gap to the relegation zone.
