We asked our followers on Facebook to supply us with their match ratings from today’s Papa John’s Trophy final defeat at the hands of Salford.

The News’ ratings always create plenty of debate, so we thought – why not let you provide us with you’re big-game scores.

And as always you didn’t let us down, with plenty of fans joining in with their takes on individual performances.

As you’d expect, keeper Craig MacGillivray was deemed pretty much faultless throughout the game, with his heroics earning him scores of nines and 10s.

Yet, as is always the case, there were plenty of alternative perspectives on the rest on the team.

MacGillivray 10 - Unbelievable would of been game over by half time if it wasn’t for him.

Bolton 7 - Looked good going forward.

Whatmough 8 - Solid at the back.

Raggett 6 - Pony.

Daniels 5 - Nearly as bad as the quality he’s brought since joining.

Williams 7 - Spells of good attacking play shocking penalty.

Naylor 7 - Wasn’t too bad in the middle.

Byers 5 - ****

White 6 - Average didn’t do much wrong nor right.

Marquis 5 - Awful as per service didn’t help him.

Hiwula 5 - Poor service seemed too lose the ball a lot.

Curtis 6 - Played well, definitely made a difference when he came on should of squared it too Marquis and as for the penalty...

Harness 7 - Only forward player with urgency going forward.

Brown 9 - Thought he had a very good game when he came on.

Close 5 - Average
