But it was Linvoy Primus’ arms who were raised to the heavens, as the devout Christian scored both goals against the side he supported as a child in the 2-1 Boxing Day success.
Primus put his rare goals down to some divine intervention from above on one of the biggest days of his career.

5. Glen Johnson
One of the greatest right-backs to play for Pompey, Johnson played 97 times in a three year spell on the south-coast. He made a big £18 million move to Liverpool in 2009 and after six years at Anfield he joined Stoke before retiring in 2018. The 37-year-old now the owner of Bed of Honey (an investment company), owns a property development company and is a regular pundit on Sky, talkSPORT, BeIn Sport and BT Sport. Taylor had a successful six-year period at Fratton Park making 203 appearances, joining the Blues in 2002. The 38-year-old left the south-coast in January 2008 for Premier League rivals Bolton, he also played for West Ham, Burnley, Northampton and Swindon before retiring in 2019. The midfielder played 116 times during his three-year stay in PO4. Davis moved to Bolton aged 30 and his career declined, making only four appearances in three years for Wanderers and after a move to Bristol City he retired in the summer of 2012.
