Curtis has been a revelation since his arrival from League of Ireland outfit Derry City for a fee of around £100,000 in the summer of 2018.

He’s recorded 13 goals and eight assists during Kenny Jackett’s League One promotion push this season.

The Republic of Ireland international has been the subject of Championship interest during his time at PO4, with Blackburn emerging as potential suitors during last month’s transfer window.

Yet while he has ambitions of playing at a higher level, Curtis has stated he’s happy and can fulfil his aspirations on the south coast.

In total, Curtis scored 25 goals in 81 appearances for Pompey.
