The Blues hadn’t lost since March stretching 27 matches, but suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of the Tangerines, with skipper Joe Morrell also seeing red.
It was an appalling second-half display from John Mousinho’s men, who have also been knocked off the top of League One by Bolton. Here’s our Pompey player ratings...
13. Christian Saydee - 5
(Replaced Josh Martin in 56th minute) Couldn't make usual impact, with second goal conceded seconds later and Morrell seeing red shortly after that. Ploughed on but it was tough. Photo: Jason Brown
14. Terry Devlin - 7
(Replaced Paddy Lane on 69 mins) Really bright when he came on and tried to liven things up. One attempt from distance almost beat the keeper. Photo: Jason Brown
15. Kusini Yengi - 5
(Replaced Abu Kamara on 69 mins) Tough ask to make an impact when down to 10 men. Tried his best, though. Photo: Jason Brown
