Two more Portsmouth youngsters earn international recognition
Two more Pompey youngsters have received youth call-ups during this week’s international break.
As reported by The News, Eoin Teggart has made a breakthrough to the Northern Ireland under-21s squad for the first time.
The third-year scholar, currently on loan at Cliftonville, is part of a 22-man training squad in Belfast.
In addition, Blues Academy goalkeeper Conor Manderson will also travel to Ulster to link-up with Northern Ireland under-19s.
What’s more, midfielder Harry Jewitt-White – who made two appearances in this season’s Papa John's Trophy campaign – has been called-up to train with Wales under-17s.
Professional development phase coach Liam Daish said: ‘t will be a brilliant experience for all three of them.
‘It’s always nice for players to have that international recognition and it’s something they should enjoy.
‘I’m sure they’ll all learn from going away with their countries and we wish them the best of luck.’
