Outside the Premier League, only Mansfield can match that unbeaten return following nine matches.

Although Mansfield have won just two of those, instead amassing seven draws on their travels to leave them 10th in League Two.

In total, the Stags have drawn 10 of their 16 league matches, suffering only one defeat to date.

Elsewhere, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are unbeaten on the road in the Premier League, albeit having played between five and six times.

Yet they haven't picked up as many away points as Spurs, who have 18 from seven games to establish the top-flight's best record.

Outside of the Premier League, Pompey have earned at least seven points more than every Football League club away from home.

Jackett's troops have amassed 23 points from a possible 27, draws at Doncaster and Accrington spoiling their 100-per-cent record.

In contrast, Leeds may top the Championship but have eight fewer points than the Blues, although played a game less.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have 15 points, consisting of four wins, three draws and a defeat, underpinning their overall top-spot placing ahead of nearest-rivals Norwich.

Incidentally, the Canaries share that 15-point tally earned from away matches, yet have one fewer positive goal difference to Leeds.

Mansfield may be League Two's last undefeated side on their travels, but their travelling return is just fourth-best at that level.

League leaders Lincoln possess the finest record, despite playing a game fewer than many of their rivals.

The Imps have 16 points from eight away fixtures, which is still seven points behind Pompey's outstanding haul.

Back to League One and the Blues (23) head Peterborough (22) and Sunderland (20), with all having played nine times on the road.

Pompey's promotion adversaries have also each lost once so far on their travels, compared to Jackett's unbeaten return on this club-record run.
