Annual art trail returns to Hampshire

AN ANNUAL art trail will allow the public to meet artists in their studios and galleries.

Hampshire Open Studios is returning for the week leading up to bank holiday Monday, August 29. About 250 studios, galleries, artists and groups will open their doors to exhibit original artwork and give talks and demos.

Carol Dilley, of Dilleycrafts, textile artist Alison Hemmings, and Bridget Bradshaw, of Bridget Bradshaw Designs, who share a studio at Oaklea House, in Frogmore Lane, Catherington, will be open from 10am to 5pm daily.

Carol, a fused glass artist, said: ‘It’s been a long build-up and all artists have worked incredibly hard getting ready to open our private spaces, homes, studios to the public.’
