Victorious Festival, a trip to the ’90s, Sun & Bass, and a Waster in Sam Cherry’s Club Scene

You can catch a huge variety of acts on Southsea Common, including The Specials, Two Door Cinema Club, Rudimental, Bloc Party, James Bay, The Hives,New Order, Clean Bandit and The Vaccines.

You can also explore multiple stages full of local Portsmouth musicians including the likes of the Acoustic Stage, Seaside Stage, World Music Stage, Craft Beer Stage, Strong Island Acoustic Stage, Beats and Swing Tent, The People’s Lounge and Havant and South Downs AMP Stage. Away from the festival, on Sunday from 3.30pm until 11pm, drum and bass collective Underground South will host their Sun & Bass event at the Southsea Rocks Hotel in Florence Road, which will include a barbecue and free giveaways. Details have been kept vague, but follow their Facebook event for more information at facebook.com.

Meanwhile over at Przym Portsmouth on Sunday, Dj Will ChuMp and friends will host Waster in the Vinyl Room. Waster promises the best indie, electronic, punk, rock and rave anthems as the ultimate after-party following Victorious! With no official after-party this will likely be the next best thing. The main room of Pryzm on Sunday will also host a foam party with Michael Griffiths of Love Island 2019. However, if anthems from the '90s are more you scene, Popworld in King Henry I Street, will host their '90s UV Foam Party from 9pm until 3am.

DJ Alex Dutton will be playing top-notch club classics all night long with thousands of glow sticks being given away, confetti, foam, CO2 cannons and £1.50 drinks. More details at facebook.com.

On Tuesday, from 7pm until 11pm, Edge of The Wedge in Southsea will host Living Body, Mammalia Blue, Friday Night Weird Dreams and Cosham for an evening of live music. Living Body have been touring extensively throughout the UK, Europe and north America even playing the likes of SXSW Festival. Entry is £6 with more details at facebook.com.
