With nine stages, a children’s arena, demonstrations, attractions and fabulous food and drink to enjoy from Friday (August 23) there is something for everyone and I know that my own family have been busy getting their lists together to make sure we don’t miss a thing.
Here are my 11 top tips of things to do and enjoy throughout Victorious! And make sure you download the Victorious App for even more information as well as keep up to date at portsmouth.co.uk for all the latest news and pictures from what is sure to be a weekend to remember.

5. Kids Arena
Unlike other festivals Victorious has a fantastic family feel with lots of opportunities to enjoy some family fun away from the music - and we know many of you take the kids for the day before returning child-free for the evening! Described as a ‘mini festival in itself’, Victorious’ Kids Arena is packed with children’s entertainment throughout the weekend including TV presenter Katy Ashworth who will take to the stage on Friday for the ultimate disco party! Elsewhere, children can enjoy the Lidl Mudder Zone, bounce fitness session, Jedi training, the world’s biggest bouncy castle, climbing walls, retro gaming, cupcake decorating and face painting.Picture: JAMES WHITE / Copyright: WWW.JAMESWHITEPHOTOS.COM Photo: JAMES WHITE / Copyright: WWW.JAMESWHITEPHOTOS.COM

6. Barrioke
Firm favourite in the Brown household, Shaun Williamson makes a return to Portsmouth for his Victorious debut with his 'Barrioke' in the Comedy Tent on Sunday, August 25 from 6.30pm. We last saw him on stage at The Kings in the fabulous Pompey Panto, but this time around we can expect audience participation and plenty of laughs all rolled into one joyous karaoke session.Picture by Alan Bound for The Kings Theatre Photo: Alan Bound for The Kings Theatre

7. Henry’s House
Henry’s House at Southsea Castle – Whose house? Henry’s House! Enter through the customer flower arch created by talented local florist Ewa at Blossom Boutique and enjoy the vibrant festival flowers. Once over the drawbridge enjoy bubbles and DJ sets in this incredibly unique and fun historic fort which will be a great change of pace at the busy event.Picture: Mark Emerton Photo: 20-06-24 Sea Defences

8. Southsea Skatepark
Loads of family fun can be had at Southsea Skatepark with a 'have a go' session on Friday; a fabulous Skatepark Show on Saturday and Sunday showcasing an extreme sports spectacle in BMXing, Skateboarding and more; and a brilliant roller disco on all three days (check app for times). I may sit this one out though and let the children (and professionals) have a go!Picture: Mike Cooter Photo: Mike Cooter
