With nine stages, a children’s arena, demonstrations, attractions and fabulous food and drink to enjoy from Friday (August 23) there is something for everyone and I know that my own family have been busy getting their lists together to make sure we don’t miss a thing.
Here are my 11 top tips of things to do and enjoy throughout Victorious! And make sure you download the Victorious App for even more information as well as keep up to date at portsmouth.co.uk for all the latest news and pictures from what is sure to be a weekend to remember.

9. Fabulous food
There are some fantastic local vendors at Victorious Festival and the designated 'Neighbourhood Eats' section gives festival goers the chance to support small businesses with PO postcode businesses offered at a subsidised rate. I know my daughter will be on the hunt for the best mac and cheese and my son the best hot dog. I just need to stay away from the churros! Photo: Victorious

10. Road to Victorious winner
Harvey Jay Dodgson is this year’s worthy winner of the Road To Victorious competition. Having performed at Truck, Y-Not and Kendall, solo artist Harvey will bring big energy for his final festival of the season with a Castle Stage performance on Sunday! Oh, and last year's winner Crystal Tides will be on the Common Stage on Saturday! Photo: Chris Broom

11. Surprise act?
Castle Field went wild last year when Mcfly made a surprise appearance - and this year there is going to be another mystery act again! It was certainly one of the highlights for me last year and actually it is the thing I'm looking forward the most to this year. I think we are going to be in for another act who will be just as well received. Want to know who it is?
