A fright at night on our camping trip
Well, it was this weekend just gone. And boy, did we have an adventure.
The weekend started with us all finding a good spot to settle down in the Forbidden Forest. You’re allowed to camp there even though its forbidden, but rumour has it that spooky things happen during the night.

‘Oh no, I’ve forgotten the rest of the food. It’s in the car!’, mum said. ‘Ah, I’ll go back with you to fetch it, it’s too dark for you to go alone’, said my aunt.
My cousins and I didn’t say we were scared, but we were, but our mums wouldn’t leave us if there was anything to worry about.
Singing away around the camp fire, we were soon disturbed by some rustling and growling.

‘What’s that!’, they both exclaimed. ‘It’s a monster, or a bear!’, I shouted back.
We scrambled together as the shadow of the beast on the tent got bigger and bigger. ‘Aaah! It’s a... it’s a...fox?’ Chip chip for now. Chipper.
