Portsmouth car ferry terminal closed until Thursday

DRIVERS are warned that the Portsmouth car ferry terminal is closed from today until Thursday.

Regular sailings from the terminal and Fishbourne will instead sail from Portsmouth International Port.

A spokesperson for Wightlink said that only booked vehicles will be accepted from the port during this time and that foot passengers will only be carried on catamarans from the Portsmouth Harbour-Ryde Pier Head route.

An additional overnight foot passenger service for Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head will also take place.
