17. HMS Duncan from the past
HMS Duncan was launched from BAE Systems Govan on 11th October 2010, this was the last dynamic launch BAE Systems would carry out on the Clyde. The 7,500-tonne Type 45 vessel is the sixth ship of its kind to be made for the Royal Navy and was expected to enter service in 2014. See PA story DEFENCE Destroyer. HMS Duncan has returned to Portsmouth after spending three months in the Mediterranean and Black Sea as the Flagship to NATO's Standing Maritime Group 2.
