Pam and Tommy: Is it available on Disney+ or Hulu, when will the series be released, who is in the cast alongside Lily James and what is the plot?

The series will tell the story of Pamela Anderson's marriage to musician Tommy Lee in the 90s after an intimate video of them was stolen and leaked online.

The video was regarded as the first-ever viral video and the Baywatch star became a victim of what is now known as revenge porn.

What is Pam and Tommy about?

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee got married on their very first date in Cancun back in 1995.

Their whirlwind romance sparked the release of a leaked sex tape that was filmed in their home, which had been stolen by an electrician who they had previously fired.

The release of the tape led to a dramatic lawsuit that gripped the press, with Pam and Tommy filing a $10m lawsuit on every person they believed had purchased the video.

The miniseries will unravel the story behind the lawsuit and the eventual break-up of Pam and Tommy.

When will the series be released?

The first three episodes of Pam and Tommy will premiere in the UK and the US on February 2.

The initial episodes will be followed by five more weekly episodes every Monday.

Who is in the cast?

Lily James is set to play the former Playboy pin-up girl alongside Sebastian Stan who is playing Tommy Lee.

Seth Rogan will appear in the miniseries as Rand Gauthier, the electrician who stole the couple's sex tape, and Nick Offerman will star as Uncle Miltie, a man who purchased the video of Pam and Tommy.

Other cast members include Taylor Schilling as Erica Gauthier, Fred Hechinger as Seth Warshavsky.

Is there a trailer?

The official trailer for Pam and Tommy was released earlier this month.

The sneak-peek shows Lily in heavy make-up and bleach-blonde hair which makes her look remarkably similar to the Baywatch actress.

Sebastian is seen sporting Tommy Lee's signature tattoos and shaggy black hair.

The trailer, which is one minute and 45 seconds long, refers to Pam and Tommy's romance as 'the greatest love story ever sold' as Meatloaf's 'I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)' plays in the background.

How to watch

Pam and Tommy will be available in the UK on Disney+ under the Star section on its release date.

Disney+ subscriptions are currently priced at £7.99 per month or £79.99 per year.

In the US, the miniseries will be available on Hulu, which is priced at $6.99 per month.
