The tea room at Westlands Farm in Wickham closed in March due to the coronavirus pandemic and its owners now say it will not be reopening.

A post of the farm’s Facebook page said: ‘A lot has happened over the past months and we have tried our best to adapt to the ever-changing climate to make sure we can offer our customers and our local community all of the fantastic produce you’re used to without compromising on service. Moving forward, there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding coronavirus.

‘With this in mind, we have made the decision to close our tea room permanently. This will allow us to expand our farm shop retail area and offer a far greater range of fantastic produce. It will also give us more space to offer a safer shopping environment.’

They said the space would be renovated by September.
