The ‘high-end’ store will offer a feature that makes it a one of a kind in the area.
Exchange Boutique, owned by Jennie Woodfine, is set to open on Monday, January 9, after a few prelaunch events that are being held across the Christmas period.

Jennie is originally from Sheffield and moved down to Drayton a few years ago, but during a visit home, she found herself stumbling across stores that were selling donated high end clothes, and she took inspiration from this as she envisaged a boutique of her own.
She said: ‘It is a ladies’ clothing shop so it would just be ladies throwing out items in their wardrobes that have only been worn once or twice. I am going to be selling high end clothes so it doesn’t feel like a charity shop or second hand shop, but more of a boutique.’

Jennie added: ‘It came from a couple of things, one of them being how I shopped myself for years where I would buy fast fashion because I would have a night out coming up.
‘I guess getting into my 40’s and looking in my wardrobe, I kept thinking what am I doing continuing to buy fashion so frequently like that.
‘There is nothing like this is Portsmouth, particularly in Drayton, and I just saw the opportunity and thought why not, so I decided to go for it.’
