Greene King's Fishermans Rest pub announces closure ahead of six-figure refurbishment
Riverside pub closes
Thousands of pounds are being pumped into a much-loved pub to introduce modern-day comforts ahead of the festive season.
A significant refurbishment is on the cards at Greene King’s Fishermans Rest pub, in Titchfield, next month.
Located in Mill Lane, opposite the historic Titchfield Abbey, the pub will temporarily close on Monday, November 2 while the works take place, with the pub set to officially reopen its doors later in the month.

The riverside boozer will retain all of its traditional country charm and character while welcoming modern-day comforts as part of the project. Improvements are planned to take place inside and out, just in time for Christmas.
The Fishermans Rest is a popular choice for friends and families and offers an extensive range of food and drinks menus to suit all occasions, diets and appetites.
More updates in due course.
