Man fell from height onto A3(M) causing massive traffic delays - police update
The road was closed
A man fell from height on the A3(M) causing massive traffic delays.

The A3(M) remains closed due to a “serious” police led incident - with National Highways advising drivers of diversions.
The road has been closed in both directions between junction 5 Broadmarsh Interchange (Portsmouth, Fareham A27 (M27); Drayton, Cosham, A2030, Chichester (A27)) and junction 3 Waterlooville Interchange (Waterlooville, Denmead, Havant, B2150).
Now police have said: “We were called at 1.15pm after a man suffered a fall from height and sustained serious injuries near junction 4 (Bedhampton) of the A3(M). He has been taken to hospital.
“The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene, however will be re-opened in due course.”
