THE TALISMAN Pub has seen their team grow as two members of staff have welcomed babies within a week of each other.

The local pub, which is situated in Park Gate, has seen a baby boom as the team expanded in August as two members of staff have welcomed their new bundles of joy with their partners.

Luke Gilbert, shift leader, has had a baby boy, Brodie, with his partner Clodagh, just six days before his work colleague, Naomi Hamilton-Smith, who welcomed baby Josie into the world with her partner, Alex.

Harriet said: ‘We are absolutely delighted for Luke, Naomi and their families while they welcome their bundles of joy to the world. From all of the team here at The Talisman we are sending our biggest congratulations.’

Luke has been with the team since February and has had an eventful year starting a new job and seeing his baby boy into the world alongside his fellow colleague.

Luke said: ‘It's great to have the support from the team at The Talisman. They couldn't wait to meet our new arrivals and we love popping in with the babies for a coffee and a catch up.’

Harriet said: ‘In the coming weeks and months we hope there will be plenty of opportunities for cuddles and we can’t wait to shower Brodie and Josie with love while we watch them grow.’

Naomi said: ‘Parenthood is amazing even with all its ups and downs and the sleepless nights will always be worth it. I love bringing my children in to see their Tally family, we're always warmly welcomed back.’

The team had been eagerly anticipating meeting the babies and the two staff members have recently gone to the pub with their partners to celebrate the arrival of their children, and the two newborns received a good reception of cuddles.

Harriet added: ‘We really hope Luke, Naomi and their partners enjoy this special time with their new families and take in every moment of being a new parent.’
