Luke named top store boss

Luke, who runs the Screwfix store in Hedge End, was named Screwfix Store Manager of the Year 2016.

Luke won out of 500 managers from across the UK .

Nominated by his area manager John Anderson, Luke impressed the judges in every round.

John said: ‘Luke has done a fantastic job running a very high profile store, engaging his team and with his perseverance and intervention, has delivered great customer service to his customers. He’s always enthusiastic and motivated.’

Luke, who has worked for Screwfix for nine years, said: ‘It’s a great honour to win. I couldn’t have done this without my teams behind me who work so hard and are incredibly dedicated to their roles. They help set an excellent example.’
