Nando’s has opened its second restaurant in Portsmouth

Nando’s will be firing up the grills to open its second restaurant in Portsmouth today (November 4) thanks to the launch of its new location at The Pompey Centre.

The new restaurant seats 121 inside, and 20 outside for those who prefer their PERi-PERi alfresco, with flavour fans also able to order takeaway and Click and Collect to enjoy their Nando’s at home.

The new restaurant will feature many of its popular dishes including Loaded PERi-Mac & Cheese, Toffee Apple Pastel de Nata and the limited-edition XX VUSA base. The restaurant also has a RUBRO machine so you can now enjoy bottomless iced tea, and of course there’s plenty of PERi-PERi to keep things extra saucy too.

Nando’s has created 40 jobs for people in the area, with the new location its second in the city alongside its restaurant at Gunwharf Quays.

Restaurant manager, Boyd Johnston said: “We’re delighted to be opening the doors to our brand-new Portsmouth restaurant! We can’t wait to welcome customers to enjoy our famous PERi-PERi and good vibes.”
