Excitement as Baked by Sweet Tooth aim for new store opening on Albert Road this month
New York style cookies, blondies and brownies to be on offer in Albert Road
A popular Southsea baker is aiming to open his new shop at the end of this month.
Baked By Sweet Tooth has spent the summer serving delicious a delicious range of cookies, blondies and brownies across events in Portsmouth as well as from a stand in Gunwharf. However, work is underway for a new shop to open in Albert Road, and cookie fans will not have long to wait.
Owner Luke Lovelace said: “We are hoping to open at the end of this month and are aiming for July 25 but that is not set in stone. We are working to get it all ready as soon as we can.
“I always said we would come back to Albert Road if we found the right shop and we found the right shop so we took the leap. We had to shut our van in Gunwharf temporarily while we get things sorted and our just doing weekends in Gunwharf at the moment as we are very busy.”
The van will continue to be set up at weekends in Gunwharf while Luke focusses on getting the shop ready and “running smoothly”. He is then hoping to return the van to its normal schedule from September.
