Koop + Kraft releases special offers for people called Harry or Jude after England World Cup heroics
Harrys and Judes can claim a £5 roast dinner
Following the World Cup heroics of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, a restaurant is celebrating by offering special deals for people who share the England duos first name.
Koop + Kraft on London Road, Cowplain rolled out the offer last week after Kane’s double against DR Congo in the round of 32. What started as a bit of fun caught people’s attention and took off.
Last week, anyone called Harry could get a free pint if they were over 18, or a free dessert if under. The same offer was available to anyone called Harriet.

George Purnell, who runs the restaurant, said: “It did it really well, mostly on the pints but we gave away a few desserts as well. It’s been fun watching the discussion online. We have had so many people people messaging us saying their name is Harrison or their middle name is Harry and if that counts. We have had a lot of fun with it.”
George said: “Until Saturday, we are doing the same offer for anyone called Jude, so they can get a pint or a dessert. That includes anyone called Judith and Judy as well. We will try to keep it going, the better England do the more we will do it.”
If England manage to get past Norway in Saturday’s quarter final there could be a new hero and offer available. Whatever the result, anyone named Harry or Jude will be able to claim £5 roast dinners on Sunday, July 12.
