Mystery surrounds location of second Hoggies Hog Roast site as owners get teeth stuck into refurbishment project
Mystery surrounds the location of a second hog roast restaurant as the owners of Hoggies dive feet first into another refurbishment project two months after opening a new Southsea venue.
Hoggies Hog Roast, located in Marmion Road, opened its doors in September following a six week refurbishment - and it’s left customers wanting more as owners, Mark Legg, Lewis Filer and Simon Hartnett, get their teeth stuck into their second location.
Despite the location being kept a secret for now, the three friends have confirmed the new site is in the design process and it is anticipated to open at the start of next year.

A spokesperson for Hoggies said: “We have already started the design process and are working closely with a local architect and our project manager to start planning the works.
“Since opening just two months ago, Hoggies is going really well. As we were bringing something new to the Portsmouth eatery scene, we were always hoping and expecting the concept to do well, but its exceeded all expectations.
The new site will offer a similar menu consisting of slow roasted chicken and pork, as well as burrito bowls and breakfast dishes, ensuring there is something for everyone to tuck into.
More updates to follow.
