Former Gosport bus station looks unrecognisable as it is transformed into £7.5m waterfront park

A new public park is taking shape along Gosport's waterfront, with the first stage of the development almost complete.

Gosport Borough Council is transforming the former bus station site into a 1,400sqm green space, forming part of a wider £7.5m regeneration scheme.

The development, previously referred to as the People's Park project, will feature a bandstand at its heart, offering a dedicated venue for live performances and community events.

Plans for the bandstand have since been revised and approved, with installation expected to take place towards the end of March next year.
