Gosport councillors and MP Caroline Dinenage have urged Hampshire County Council to heed community opposition to closing Stubbington Study Centre after the consultation ended yesterday.
There is a warning that the huge project to revamp Gosport’s Criterion building could leave the borough council stumping up cash to keep it afloat as it would never make a profit.
