Four Portsmouth men arrested and £22,000 seized by South East Regional Organised Crime Unit in drugs investigation

Four men from Portsmouth were arrested in connection with a drugs investigation – and police seized roughly £22,000 in cash.

South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) officers, supported by specialist Metropolitan Police officers, executed a warrant at an address in West Green Road, Wood Green, Tottenham on Wednesday, October 18.

They seized around 15 wraps of cocaine, approximately £22,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia and a number of mobile phones.

The four men, aged in their twenties, from Portsmouth have since been released on bail.

Detective sergeant Daniel Hope, of SEROCU said: “We are committed to tackling serious and organised crime, particularly that which involves drugs, and causes harm in our communities.
