Henry Nowak: Havant men Reece Robinson and Noah Etherington charged after disorder in Southampton
Two men from Havant have been charged over disorder in Southampton
Three more people have been charged after violent trouble broke out in Southampton this week.
After the sentencing of Vickrum Digwa for the murder of Henry Nowak, the far-right activist known as Tommy Robinson and actor Laurence Fox attended a rally outside Southampton Police Station. It came from anger over the way Henry was treated when officers arrived, having been called by Digwa who alleged he had been the victim of a racist incident, when in fact he had stabbed Henry.

Two men - Matt Styler, 50, of Gosport and Daniel Frost, 44, of Southampton - appeared in court yesterday. Styler denied assaulting a police officer and Frost admitted disorder offence and possessing a dog lead with a metal carabiner attached. The court was told Frost had thrown dustbins and a chair at police officers during the protest in Portswood.
Now Reece Robinson, 21, of Soberton Road, Havant, Noah Etherington, 18, of Rowbury Road, Havant, and Connor Bishop, 24, of Oxford Street, Southampton, have been charged with violent disorder.
Following the charges being authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service, they are due to appear at Southampton Magistrate’s Court this morning.
Eleven police officers and a police dog were injured in the trouble.
