Police on patrol after youths kick and punch cars and pull down Christmas lights in Gosport

A GROUP of young people have damaged cars and ripped down decorations along a Gosport street just before Christmas.

Police are patrolling the area around Charlesbury Avenue after five separate reports of anti-social behaviour across Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December.

A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘The incidents have involved youths kicking and punching cars, causing damage to wing mirrors, and on one occasion on December 18 some Christmas lights had been pulled down from outside a house.’
