Man charged after string of burglaries in Gosport

A man has been charged in connection with a string of burglaries in Gosport.Â

Paul Anderson, 49, of Fawcett Road in Croydon has been charged with three burglary offences.

The first of the burglaries happened in a flat on the Anchorage at  some point between Wednesday, September 26 and the following day and jewellery was stolen.

The on  Wednesday, October 24 items of clothing were stolen from a house on Peel Road.

In the third burglary jewellery was stolen from a house on Monckton Road in Gosport on Monday, October 29. 

Mr Anderson has in addition been charged in relation to three burglaries in the London area.

He has been remanded to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on today (October 31).Â
