Dadzclub is hosting Portsmouth's first international men's day event next month

This event will be Portsmouth’s first International Men’s Day event and Dadzclub wants to promote positive male voices that help inspire people, and the event will bring people together.

Hide AdOne of the main aspects of the evening will be the appreciation awards ceremony that will help place recognition on some inspiring men and young boys.
Matt Foster, Dadzclub CEO, said: ‘Portsmouth's first International Men's Day event promises to be a prestigious and inclusive night that raises awareness of issues affecting men and boys and shines a light on deserving role models in Portsmouth.’

Hide AdThe team offer multiple routes of support for dads including stay and play socials for fathers and their children, a Whatsapp group for dads to message in for support and advice, a Facebook group and a number of organised events.
It works with partnerships to improve services for dads, while ensuring that they explore gender equality when looking at parenting methods.
People will also be able to nominate their loved ones to be up for the appreciation awards and the deadliner to submit nominations will be on October 31, and successful nominations will be notified before November 5, and they will be sent a ticket for themselves and a guest.
The successful nominees will be presented with an official certificate and an International Men's Day pillar award.
